In little Lukenbach, Texas, musicians of the dirt-road stripe converge far and wide to play in the small “town” (population 3)’s bar-cum-post office…and sometimes, more official-like, on an outdoor stage. During a recent expedition to the Texas Hill Country, I pulled into Lukenbach and caught a show.
